In today event in China, Oppo has confirmed it will launch a 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom Camera next month, February 2019. The Event will take place in Barcelona at the show of MWC 2019. Oppo has also revealed some information about how it would be possible to achieve. The 10x hybrid zoom will be achieved by combining a 5x optical zoom camera with a wide-angle camera setup. The patents given by Oppo show that the module will be equivalent to 35mm dimension and the focal length would be 15.9-159 mm. Oppo has not yet stated which Oppo smartphone will launch with such amazing newer setup.
Also, Oppo reported to the press release media that the 10x optical zoom camera setup will bring support for Dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). It’s not enough Oppo has said it will launch a bigger Under-Screen Fingerprint Sensor that will be 15 times larger in size than the fingerprint reader available in Oppo R17.
It is added the Fingerprint Sensor will be able to read 2 Finger patterns simultaneously. That’s mean the Double Biometric Security. We hope it will be really a new biometric security experience for you. It is mysterious what will be that smartphone to have such innovative features. Speculations are it will be an Oppo R-series leading smartphone.
