As promised, Samsung has today officially unveiled the much-anticipated Galaxy S21 series with flagship features and impressive design. The flagship series includes vanilla Galaxy S21, Samsung S21 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra devices. The newly announced S21 Ultra is also the first S-series phone to come with Stylus support. However, there is no dedicated slot (unlike the Galaxy Note series as they have dedicated slots) within the device to hold the S-Pen. All Samsung’s new smartphones come with 5G support, AMOLED display, and Android 11 OS. Alongside these phones, Samsung also unveiled the new Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy SmartTags.
Samsung Galaxy S21
The vanilla Galaxy S21 runs One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 OS and features a 6.2 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The display has Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits (peak) brightness, and HDR10+ support. The front panel is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus, and the phone comes with an Aluminum frame. Samsung Galaxy S21 comes in two Chipset variants – Exynos 2100 (for global markets) and Snapdragon 888 (for USA, China, and Korea). It comes with 5G support, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage.

For photos and videos, there is a Triple rear camera setup which includes a 64MP telephoto camera (1.1x optical zoom and 3x hybrid zoom), a 12MP wide sensor (f/1.8 aperture, Dual Pixel PDAF, and OIS), and a 12MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree FOV). On the front side, you get a 10MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Other features of the phone include an under-display fingerprint sensor, a 4,000 mAh battery with 25W quick charging and 15W wireless charging support, IP68 dust/water resistance, NFC, and 8K video recording.

Samsung S21 Plus, on the other hand, houses a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 1300 nits (peak) brightness, HDR10+ support, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel, which offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It runs Android 11 OS customized with One UI 3.1 layer. Like the S21, it features a 10MP front-facing camera for selfies and live videos. On the back panel, it houses a triple camera setup with a 12MP primary camera, a 64MP telephoto shooter, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The handset can record 8K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at 30/60fps. You can also record 4k videos from 10MP front camera.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
The most premium Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra succeeds the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which was announced last year. It comes with an Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The handset flaunts a 6.8inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 515 PPI density, 1500 nits (peak) brightness, and HDR10+ support. Instead of flat displays, the S21 Ultra has a good-looking curved panel that provides a QHD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The handset also comes with Stylus support and an under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of optics, the phone offers a quad rear camera module which has a 108MP (2nd gen) primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 10MP periscope telephoto sensor with f/4.9 aperture and 10x optical zoom, a 12MP ultrawide shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture.
