The Vivo Y12s runs FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 10 OS and features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a water-drop notch on the front panel for the 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone comes with side-facing fingerprint sensor and face unlock features. For photography experience, Vivo Y12s houses a rectangular-shaped rear camera module which includes a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary lens with f/2.4 aperture. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. Furthermore, Vivo Y12s comes with a sizeable 5,000 mAh battery with 10W standard charging support. The phone measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 7.41 mm and it weighs 191 grams.
