Redmi Note 9 5G series launch date has finally been officially revealed by Xiaomi through a poster spotted on Weibo. The upcoming smartphones are all set to go official next week on November 26th. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and a 4G-only Redmi Note 9. So far, Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G specifications have been revealed several times and we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the phones.

Redmi Note 9 5G is said to have a 6.53-inch FHD+ punch-hole display, will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U, and likely to run Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. It is expected to come with triple cameras at the back comprising of a 48MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a depth sensor. A 13MP sensor is present on the front for selfies and video chats. As for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, it is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz display, 240Hz touch sampling, and punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with at least 8GB RAM. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will come equipped with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary camera. Moreover, the device could offer a 4,820mAh battery and 33W fast-charging support.
