Huawei came with a new budget smartphone, the Honor 8S. It has compromising features against Honor 8C to keep prices down further. The handset sports a 5.71inches HD+ IPS Display and there is a tiny U-shaped notch which employs water-drop style. Honor 8S boots Android 9.0 (Pie) and runs on EMUI 9 Lite for quicker settings and easy gestures support.

The affordable Honor 8S ditches a fingerprint sensor. Photography lovers can fulfill day-to-day camera needs with a 13MP (f/1.8) primary rear shooter. LED flash helps the main sensor to attain more light. The Huawei Honor 8S hired a 5MP front cam for AI selfies, HDR shots and HD video calls.
There is a MediaTek chipset, Helio A22 to manage steady workflow. RAM and ROM are 2GB and 32GB, respectively. There is another variant housing 3GB RAM and 64GB Storage. MicroSD card space is available in slot tray and lets it expand memory up to 512GB.
Battery rates at 3,020 mAh and we can hope at least satisfactory 3G talk and music play time. It does not support fast Charging, as we expect from a low-end range device.
