Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has silently launched a new smartphone called Redmi K30i 5G in China. Its design and specifications are identical to the Redmi K30 5G phone that went official in China back in December 2019. The only major difference between the two phones is that the Redmi K30 5i comes with a 48-megapixel primary lens on its back. The K30i comes in colors like blue, red, purple, and white. The handset is now up for pre-orders on the Chinese retailer site.

The Redmi K30i 5G has a TUV Rheinland certified 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that produces FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The HDR10 complaint screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The pill-shaped cutout on the screen offers a 20-megapixel main lens and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The Snapdragon 765G SoC is present under the hood of the Redmi K30i 5G. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and it has a UFS 2.1 storage of 128 GB. There is a 4,500mAh battery inside the device. It comes with support for 30W fast charging. The 48-megapixel primary shooter on the K30i is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 5-megapixel super macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The MIUI 11 based Android 10 OS come preinstalled on the Redmi K30i 5G.
