A leaked video teaser by Tech Configurations on You tube suggests the name of upcoming Huawei Foldable Smartphone, the Huawei Mate X. This flexible device has a beautiful design and three different working mode-name according using conditions as called Smartphone, Tablet and Laptop mode. In the folded form it is smartphone mode, in the plane unfolded form it is tablet mode while unfolding the screen by 120% offers a laptop mode.
The video shows the Huawei Mate X measures 3.75 mm thickness when unfolded and it becomes 7.5 mm thick when folded. It is revealed the Smartphone mode has 5.0 inches AMOLED Display with trendy aspect ratio and QHD+ resolution. It is gives an edge display feeling like it has a curve on left and rights. The tablet mode has two AMOLED displays of diagonal 8 inches with 4K UHD resolution. It opens like a book and there is a flexible hinge between both displays. Surprisingly, you find a separate In-Screen Fingerprint Sensor in either mode, Smartphone or Tablet. It is an HDR 10 compliant to offer better results.
Huawei Mate X is coming with a total of three cameras. There are Dual 12MP (f/1.5) + 20MP Camera lenses on the rear for both tablet and smartphone form. However, there is a Selfie Camera of 24MP with f/1.7 aperture for only smartphone mode, when you will unfold the smartphone and will enter in tab mode, the selfie camera will act as a rear camera lens and badly you won’t get a selfie cam in tablet mode. The all optics will have OIS, EIS and AI Beauty tech result enhancing supports.
The Huawei Foldable Device is rumored to be launched in March at the occasion of MWC 2019. It is also said that amazingly the Huawei Mate X will support 5G network. The CPU and GPU Turbo technology will be supported, too.
Nothing else beside these the video revealed, but we are expecting the world’s most powerful Snapdragon 8150 chipset instead of Kirin 980 for the Huawei Mate X, as the SD8150 is already running successfully in a device The Royole Flexpai, which is the world’s first foldable smartphone. Take with a pinch of salt, Huawei may launch it with Kirin 980 or either one to empower its foldable handset.
Huawei Mate X is suggested to have 6/8 GB RAMs, 256/512 GB Internal Storages, Adreno 630 GPU, a 8000mAh Battery, Fast Charging Option, and a new customized OS. The Price of Huawei Mate X is expected to be around $2000.
