New Android 8.0 Oreo OS unveiled, and Blackberry Keyone getting it first

Finally, Android released its much-awaited new Android OS which is called 8.0 Oreo. The latest Oreo Platform comes with many upgrades. Android 8.0 Oreo is fully secured with built-in Google Play Protect which helps you to keep your phone safe and automatically scans 50 billion apps everyday even any app you have not installed yet. It means new Android OS presents security than ever before. Android Oreo supports Picture-In-Picture feature which enables you to see two apps or files at a time. You can press the Notification Dots to watch rapidly what’s new. Notification Categories and Notification Snoozing features are added as well for more consistent control and to hide any notification for a short time by snoozing.

Moreover, Android 8.0 (Oreo) is featured with Background Limits which reduce battery consumption of background apps to save your more battery juice. It has Autofill Support as well to remember your login keywords with your permission to help you to access your favorite apps quickly. Now you also can share your mood with up to 60 new emoji and remaining fully redesigned emoji. Android Instant Apps includes in Android Oreo to get in browser apps directly without installation. It gets Project Treble that helps developers and hardware makers to provide latest Android updates to the users. Android 8.0 Oreo comes with Java 8 APIs and runtime optimization, WebView enhancements, Audio improvements, and Keyboard navigation and pointer capture, wide gamut color for apps and Adaptive Icon and budges.

Blackberry announced that its Keyone smartphones soon will get Android OS 8.0 (Oreo) in first. After a short period, the new roll out will start via OTA. It is reported that the Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony, Huawei, HTC, LG, Kyocera, Nokia, General Mobile, Essential and Sharp’s smartphones will start receiving Android Oreo update by the end of the year. Wait for the next update to know exactly when the Oreo update (via OTA) will begin.
