The new era of smartphones has started with New Year 2019 and many mobile brands are gearing up to introduce their innovations e.g. Foldable Mobile Phones, Sliding Cameras, new generation mobile chipsets and softwares, longer life batteries, ultra fast chargers, and much more. 5G connectivity is coming and MWC19 is imminent also. So let’s see which smartphones will launch in the first quarter of 2019.
Samsung flagship smartphones are scheduled to unveil on Feb 20, 2019. A Galaxy S10 E (economy version) is coming for the first time alongside other S lineup, Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus. Another report confirms the launch of a Samsung S10+ Special Edition getting 12GB RAM and 1TB Internal Storage. Galaxy F and M30: A Samsung Foldable Smartphone supposedly called Galaxy F will also debut at the same time as of Galaxy S10 trio.
In addition, the Galaxy M30 is also rumored to give MWC this time a great honor and rank.
Further three Samsung mobile phones are expected too for Q1 2019. Those are Galaxy A10 the cheapest one, Galaxy A20 a budget smartphone, and Galaxy A30 a nice affordable option with better specs sheet.
Oppo is holding announcement on Feb 23, 2019. It has already confirmed by the brand that the Oppo will introduce first 10X Hybrid Zoom Camera Smartphone supporting Dual OIS (optical image stabilization). Oppo will also unveil a bigger In-Display Fingerprint Sensor which would be able to read 2x finger patterns simultaneously. The latest official information exposed the name of an upcoming smartphone, Oppo F11 Pro which is recently tweeted by Oppo to unleash on Feb 23. Rumors are the Chinese brand could make official Oppo Find Z at MWC19 as the Find smartphone got listed in European Trademark Office.
Vivo is preparing to launch Vivo Apex 2019 at the MWC show for the global market. The Apex phone will rely on pressure sensitivities, Wireless Charging, and Full-Display Fingerprint Sensing. There is no physical button on this smartphone. The Vivo V15 Pro, on the other hand, has been confirmed via invite to debut on February 20, the same launch day as of Samsung.
Recently, a new Vivo sub-brand abruptly surfaced on social media. The sub-brand is something that calls Vivo iQOO not knowing how it would be pronounced but the rumors say its first device will be a Foldable Smartphone which could be known as Vivo iQOO phone.
Vivo is also bringing a new affordable smartphone line which will be called U series and its first device is supposed to be Vivo U1.
Xiaomi selected the date of February 20 to announce Mi 9 smartphone alongside Mi 9 Explorer Edition or Mi 9 SE with famous 48MP Camera trend. Mi MIX smartphone had launched back in 2019, but the brand reported it will release Mi MIX 3 5G edition on Feb 24. However, the newly independent subsidiary Redmi is said to introduce Redmi Note 7 Pro at MWC19.
LG is working on two new smartphones and one of them is LG G8 ThinQ - though the G series has been rumored to be shut down. The other handset is LG V50 ThinQ 5G to surprise you. Recent news claimed a US carrier, Sprint shared allegedly the V50 ThinQ 5G in numerous images. This indicate an imminent launch, perhaps LG could planning these high-end smartphones for Q1 2019.

Another latest report tells Huawei is planning to introduce Huawei P30 flagship device by the end of March. The US and China versions are said support 5G connectivity. The Huawei P30 Pro, its upgraded variant, is also rumored for the same time.
Motorola has announced Moto G7 family, G7 Plus an upper mid-ranger, Moto G7 Power an affordable choice, and Moto G7 Play the cheapest one. But now the rumors claim another smartphone from Moto Z series named as Moto Z4 Play will unleash at MWC or later in March 2019.

Sony launches at least one Xperia smartphone every year at MWC, therefore, we expect Xperia XZ4 to debut somewhere between Feb 25 and 28. Two more phones are on its way reportedly Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus which may launch in March.
Oneplus is sending invitations to its fans to join the live streams of Barcelona event MWC19. The invite tagged with REIMAGINE and told to think again about the Oneplus future. The best-in-class Chinese company didn't reveal any mobile phone name or specifications. As we know Oneplus launches a vanilla smartphone every year in the first half and a T series version in the second half of the year. Therefore, we are suggesting Oneplus might introduce Oneplus 7 at the Mobile World Congress.
The Chinese mobile brands are eagerly taking part in developing 5G network infrastructure. Huawei and Xiaomi Mobiles have already assured to announce their 5G smartphones and future mobile connectivity plans at the MWC19. So, the Oneplus may also participate in the show with a 5G smartphone or at least might announce future 5G mobile plans.
Meizu is allegedly working on a smartphone which will be called Meizu Note 9 or M9 Note, depending on the region. What we know about Meizu M9 Note so far, the handset will feature a Super Fast Charger rated at 55W to set the record of recharging 0 to 60 percent battery life within 10 minutes. It is likely to announce sometime in February or March 2019.
After selling its half of the experienced executives to Google Pixel Mobiles, the HTC has slow down its smartphone massive production. The Company is reported to introduce at least a successor flagship device this year, most probably HTC U13 Plus.
