Xiaomi Black Shark Helo is a powerful gaming smartphone, which is recently introduced by the Chinese mobile brand. It is the first handset by Xiaomi to carry such a massive RAM of 10GB paired with 256GB Internal Storage.
Xiaomi Black Shark Helo has a similar look to the predecessor Black Shark. Thanks God! There is no notch but an 18:9 display, metal body wrapped in the leather feel like gaming cover, some optical sensors, a rear fingerprint reader and two front firing stereo speakers. There is a RGB illuminated Slides on left and right sides as well as a lightened-up logo on the back.
The newer Black Shark Helo model comes with 6.0 inches AMOLED Display at previous 60Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and higher nits of brightness, HDR compliant, and Real Time SDR to HDR frame converter for an amazing watching experience. It runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) which is polished with MIUI 10 overlay. It is planned to upgrade to Android 9.0 (Pie).
The Black Shark Helo sports a Dual Rear Camera setup of 12MP (f/1.7) + 20MP (f/2.2), both optics are developed by Sony, you can, therefore, shoot more beautiful and brighter photos believing on company record. There is a 20MP Front Camera with f/2.2 aperture to capture good looking selfies. The whole camera setup supports some nifty AI tricks to perform better than before.
Inside the chassis, there is a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset along with the Octa-core processor and the best graphical GPU of Adreno 630. The combo further adds a mammoth 10GB RAM to deliver you the ever best gaming experience. You can save a lot of stocks easily in 256GB inbuilt memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo is also available in two cheaper variants of RAM and ROM, first 6GB/128GB and second 8GB/128GB. MicroSD slot is not yet confirmed (TBD).
The rest of specs include a 4000mAh non-removable battery, Fast Charging Support, and a Gamer Studio App offer you to connect your gaming device with a CPU or Display over the network. The 6GB standard Xiaomi Black Shark Helo Price is CNY 3,199 which is about $460. The 8GB RAM variant of Black Shark is offered for CNY 3,499 ($505). However, the 10GB RAM model’s price is still un-official, but we hope it will be available at around $700.
