Last Update 2019-07-22

We brought today two new quality smartphones in SmackDown for budget-friendly customers, Realme 3i and Samsung A10. Both are competitive and sufficient fast to perform everyday tasks. Moreover, there is just five dollars difference between the prices of two phones. If you are supposed to select either one for purchase, what would be your choice 3i or A10? Let’s have an end-to-end specs comparison to make your selection easier and better.

Design and Display

Both the Oppo and Samsung budget phones have similar dimensions for the body but they look different for their unique design. Realme 3i dares to leap a tall display of 156.1mm while Galaxy A10 measures at a bit lesser 155.6 mm of height. Those gadgets adopt notch style, 19:9 wide aspect, and above 80% screen-to-body ratio.

What’s amazing here is diamond-back of Realme making it prominent than simple A10, though both are of plastic and have a glass on the front. Furthermore, the 3i smartphone comes up with dual back cameras while Galaxy handset assembled a single primary lens there.

One of the biggest drawbacks for Samsung A10 is a deficiency of Fingerprint Security option. Realme sings a melody for winning the battle round first, bearing a Rear Fingerprint Scanner.

3i and A10 cheer a similar display technology – a 6.2inches IPS LCD Display of 720x1520p resolution. Even those two devices are offering equal 271 PPI density for screening.

ColorOS 6 vs One UI

Out of the showcase, Samsung A10 and Realme 3i run Android OS v9.0 (Pie), yet they have diverse UIs.

The Galaxy A10 used to dress in OneUI and its top highlights are as per the following Improved One-Hand Usability, Navigation Gestures, Adoptable Storage (to carry on smaller scale SD card like inward memory), Dark Night Mode, Gallery Recycle Bin (which keeps erased photographs for 15 days), Life to Wake, Smart Orientation, and New Animations Control (for camera) and so on.

Coming toward Oppo Reno, it boots ColorOS 6 that accompanies top six highlights as pursues New Gradient Interface, Boosted Game Space, App Drawer and Search Bar for nearby applications, Smart Gestures, Smart Assistant, and Smart Driving mode (driving for vehicle and riding for a bike).

OneUI and ColorOS 6 are fascinating for their advanced technology. Both are equally dearer to us. You can select whatever feels good for oneself.

13MP Vs 13MP (Camera Test)

Who one dislike to keep a better camera smartphone? There’s no one perhaps, even while you are getting a superior photography experience in the same price range. The camera comparison favors the Realme 3i for its offerings, 13MP (f/1.8) wide + 2MP depth sensor. However, Samsung A10 is too weak to fight for splendid shots with a single 13MP lens and of less wide f/1.9 aperture.

Both they accompanied a LED flash on the rear, but the A10 gets an extra one for front too so that you can capture any moment any time. 3i and A10 are capable of recording FHD movies at 30 frames per second. Unfortunately, no one brings true support for AI beauty shots.

13MP Vs 5MP

Once again, Realme 3i shows off dominance for selfie results. Oppo’s infant integrated a 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera which allows HDR and 1080p video calling, and have some software aided beauty filters for enhanced shots. On the other side, Galaxy A10 carries only 5MP snapper of f/2.0 which let you make good-looking selfies and HD+ video calls, but still not winning over Realme.

Mediatek P60 Vs Exynos 7884

There is almost half of the performance difference between the two players. An advanced 12nm Mediatek chipset, Helio P60 powers the Realme 3i and it boosted by 3GB RAM. Besides this, a 14nm Exynos 7884 SoC drives Samsung A10 tucked with 2GB RAM. The only edge with Galaxy phone is a Cortex-A73 processor more efficient than 3i’s A53 core processor. But that’s might not enough to compete. The Realme is faster and superior for total efficiency.

Let’s take the help of benchmarking reports to calculate overall performance. AnTuTu awarded 136,500 scores to 3i, whereas the A10 gets out of the game at a net run rate of 88,710 by AnTuTu.

Graphics are presented by Mali G72 and G71 respectively for Realme and Samsung customers. Being a successor GPU, 3i’s G72 is of course dominant.

Are you looking for memory? The two handsets have the same 32GB onboard storage for the base model. Sadly, A10 lacks premium variant while 3i feels blessed under the shed of a more powerful variant having 4GB RAM and 64GB room. Micro-SD space is available in both, and this time Samsung tried to give extra curvature by allowing up to 1TB memory card, whereas the Oppo’s infant restricted to the 256GB extension.

4230 Vs 3400 mAh Battery (Endurance Test)

Are you ready to fight for the camera? One again, Realme proved itself better and cached the attention of the audience with a mammoth 4,230 mAh power bank. Lets you talk, play and browse until gets fulfill or satisfied. Realme 3i delivers 21 hours talk time, 18 hours web-surfing, and 90 hours of music play. Talking about the Galaxy A10, it houses a 3,400 mAh battery that provides 17 hours of 3G talks, 74 hours of music, and 15 hours of online streaming.

Both are compatible with standard 10W Fast Charge.

Conclusion

The Price of the Realme 3i is $115; however, the Galaxy A10 costs $120. That means a jackpot, yes the best deal waiting for you, in fact, no need to pay overpriced smartphone, of course, why even when you are getting a superior handset from the camera to performance to handset life for a cheaper price. Not only, for a mobile phone under $150, but Realme 3i is also an excellent choice.
