Lenovo Legion gaming phone spotted on Geekbench

Lenovo has been teasing the arrival of the Lenovo Legion gaming phone since December 2019. In February, it confirmed that the Legion gaming phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Chipset. Ahead of the launch, the gaming smartphone has been found listed on Geekbench. The Lenovo Legion gaming phone has Lenovo L79031 model number. Recently, the smartphone was appeared at the database of China’s 3C certification. The listing revealed that the phone may ship with a 45W charger.

According to the Geekbench listing, the SD865 powered phone has scored 914 in the single-core test and 3370 in the multi-core test. It will run Android 10 operating system. Rumors have revealed that the OS will be customized with Lenovo’s Legion UI. The SD865 processor is mentioned with its Kona codenamed on the Geekbench 5 listing of L79031. The listing also mentions that the phone has 8 GB of RAM. Past reports have revealed that the Lenovo Legion gaming phone has a notch-less Full HD+ OLED screen that supports 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and 270Hz touch sampling rate. It is said to have a 20-megapixel side-mounted pop-up camera. Its other rumored features include LPPDR5, stereo speakers, X-axis linear motor, advanced liquid cooling technology, 4,000mAh battery, and support for 90W fast charging.
