Micromax Launched Canvas 5 Special Edition with wooden Finish

The Micromax Canvas 5 smartphone was launched approximately 9 months ago, now the Indian company has released a unique variant of the smartphone name “Lite”.  The device is listed on the companies’ website with its specifications.

The Micormax Canvas 5 Lite Special Edition features a 5-inch HD display 720 pixels by 1280 pixels, it is powered by Mediatek SoC (MTK6735P) with quad-core 1.0GHz processor. The phone packs 2GB RAM and 16GB native storage, which can be enhanced through a MicroSD card.  The Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Edition sports a 8-megapixel main camera on the backside and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.


The Canvas 5 Lite is Dual standby, it accepts two SIMs and it offers Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G connectivity options. The phone sports Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer. The Micormax Canvas 5 Lite runs Android 5.0 and is powered by a 2000mAh removable battery.


The best thing about the Canvas 5 Lite is that it is wrapped in wooden finish which looks unique and probably it will attract many customers. Unfortunately, there’s no official information about device price. However, the company offers budget smartphones as per customer needs so we expect that the device will carry a reasonable price tag.


In case of you forget its standard variant Micormax Canvas 5 that was launched in November 2015 packs a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB storage, which can be enhanced up to 32GB via MicroSD card. There is a 13MP rear camera on the backside of the device and 5MP front camera on the front side. The Canvas 5 runs Android 5.1 and gets power by a 2900mAh non removable battery. The base model also sports basic sensors.
