Samsung announced Galaxy Xcover Pro rugged smartphone

Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy Xcover Pro with modern design and a massive battery. It is the latest device in the Xcover series of rugged smartphones, and Samsung has initially launched this phone in Finland. According to the company, the Xcover Pro will go on sale in Finland from January 31, 2020, while other countries will get later. The Samsung Xcover Pro is the first phone that uses modern design elements like a punch-hole display with small bezels and an ultra-wide rear camera. You get IP68 water and dust resistance rating on this phone as well as MIL-STD-810 ruggedness certification. The new Samsung’s rugged smartphone has a power button on the right side, and this button also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.

Furthermore, the Samsung Xcover Pro features a 6.3 inches IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone draws power from the Exynos 9611 Chipset coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The battery capacity is 4,050 mAh that supports up to 15W for rapid charging. There is a dual rear camera setup, including a 25MP primary lens and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the punch-hole houses a 13MP shooter for selfie experience.
