Xiaomi is expected to launch its new flagship gaming smartphone – Black Shark 3 with Snapdragon 865 Chipset soon. So far, we have received a bunch of rumored specifications of the device. But in a recent Weibo post, the company gave us a hint that the phone may come up with a massive juicy 5000 mAh battery, which is like a common thing in modern smartphones. To fuel up that massive amount of phone battery, the company is likely to provide a 65W brick with the fast charging technology.

The CEO of Black Shark, Luo Shao, is looking to strike a balance between the battery capacity and charging power of the smartphone. Since it’s a 5G enable game-centric phone, the phone will go through a heavy load scenario. So, to overcome this, the company is trying to improve the battery capacity as well as its charging and discharging rates. The company is also focusing on making a temperature reduction design for seamless gaming. Even the senior executive started a poll on different battery and charging speeds. The company wants to know what combination the users would like on their 5G gaming smartphones. The chief architect of the company said that since it’s a 5G gaming smartphone, it will need a more complex and aggressive power system and even suggested to vote for the 65W + 5000 mAh variant, which of course, we all agree. Moreover, the Black Shark 3 is expected to arrive with a 2K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate panel for fluid gaming. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, which features the X55 5G modem, will power the handset with a 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
