Oppo will be launching the Oppo K9 5G smartphone on May 6 in China. Recently, the phone appeared on TENAA and 3C authorities of China with PEXM00 model number. Recent reports have claimed that it could be powered by the Snapdragon 765G or 768G SoC. Now, the company has confirmed that it will be driven by the Snapdragon 768G processor.

The Snapdragon 768G that offers maximum clocking speeds of 2.8GHz is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 765G chip. The other features that are officially confirmed for the smartphone include a 64MP primary lens, liquid cooling technology, and 65W charging.

The listings have revealed that it will be arriving in variants such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be available in black and gradient blue colors. Recent reports have revealed that it will be arriving with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. There will be an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The OPPO K9 5G will have a front-facing camera of 32MP. The device will draw power from a 2,100mAh dual-cell battery.
