Vivo U1 Unveiled with 6.2 in Display and 4030 mAh Battery

Vivo U1 goes official with 6.2 inches Display, SD439 chipset, and Dual Back Cameras.

Nowadays, we are seeing many new smartphone line discoveries which are increasing competition among mobile vendors. Samsung has introduced Galaxy M line last month (Jan19) and now Vivo is unveiling U series in comparison just before the MWC19.

Like the Rainbow colors, Vivo U1 is changing its body shades for beautiful gradient finishes Starry Night, Nebula Purple and Aurora Red.

Vivo U1 is an entry-level smartphone that comes with an IP58 rating, pretty cool 19 by 19 display design, 6.2 inches IPS LCD notched screen, and HD+ resolution (720x1440p).

The budget-friendly Vivo U1 facilitates you with Funtouch OS 4.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

Photography Cameras are two. The 13 MP main lens has f/2.2 aperture, PDAF support and is capable of FHD photos and video shooting at 30fps. At the rear there is a 2 MP secondary sensor for depth details. On the front, an 8 MP Selfie Camera having f/2.0 aperture is available for video calling. Thankfully, FaceWake is available for secure facial unlock. The device hired a back Fingerprint Sensor, too.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439, the U1 device has Octa-core processor and Adreno 505 GPU. There are three memory options for RAM and ROM, 3 GB/32 GB, 3 GB/64 GB, and 4 GB/64 GB. If you are still in fear of running out space, you can go up to 256 GB of external storage via microSD card.

Vivo U1’s Battery is measured at 4030 mAh, a non-removable power cell that is efficient of giving the user two days handset life of multimedia.

The Prices for Vivo U1 are as follows CNR 799 ($118) for base 3/32 GB model, CNY 999 ($147) for standard 3/64 GB device, and CNY 1,199 ($177) for premium 4/64 GB variant. It is available at Vivo online store and will ship on Feb 26.
