Update: Honor 9X family will be unveiled on July 23, according to the latest report.
Huawei’s Honor family is working on successors to the last year’s Honor 8X. But this time Honor is not bringing only standard Honor 9X but also a Pro version alongside. Recently, a render of Honor 9X Pro surfaced on Slash Leaks. The source revealed the Pro model of 9X will have a Pop-Up Selfie Camera above the Infinite LCD Display.

The leakster also suggested Honor 9X Pro will acquire Dual or Triple Rear Photographers. We don’t what resolution the handset possesses? We could expect it to have above the 16MP lens, being the successor to Honor 8X (which had a 16MP front and 20MP rear).

The given render showed a Power and two Volume Keys on the right, a USB port along with 3.5mm socket at the bottom, and dual SIM tray on the left of the device. There is no physical Fingerprint Scanner on the back, therefore, we hope to see a UD FR technology, which is more reliable and easier to access.

The same source suggested Honor 9X Pro to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 810, which is a newly launched 10nm chipset with a similar architecture to Kirin 980. It will work together with the eight-core processor.
Honor 9X Pro will be a mid-range device, but it will obtain flagship-level features. The Pro is said to bring support for a 20W Fast Charge.
There is no word on price and release date. Our assumptions are Honor 9X duo will debut this fall, likely this September 2019. These will be affordable devices and they will cost you below $500.
At this moment, we are unable to collect any official info on standard Honor 9X. But one thing assures rumors are kicked off and it won’t take long to reveal all about Honor X smartphones.
