Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will be launched on September 30

Google has officially announced that the company will be holding a launch event on September 30th where it will launch the much anticipated Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones. The event is slated for 11 am PT and will be an online-only affair; while it isn’t confirmed yet, it should be live-streamed on YouTube.

Google Pixel 5 price in Chile and specs

The Google Pixel 4a 5G will be the more affordable device among the two. It is expected to arrive with a 60Hz OLED panel which will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with 6GB RAM. In the camera department, the device is said to have a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12.2-megapixel primary shooter alongside an ultra-wide lens. There will be an 8-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, the Pixel 4a 5G may come with a sizeable 3800mAh battery with fast-charging support. The Google Pixel 5, on the other hand, the device is expected to sport a 90Hz OLED panel, Snapdragon 765G SoC, and 8GB of RAM. As for its cameras, it is said to house the same 12.2-megapixel primary shooter and ultra-wide lens as the Google Pixel 4a. To keep its lights on, the Pixel 5 will be coming with a slightly larger 4,000mAh battery that will also support fast-charging.
