OnePlus 7 Pro VS OnePlus 7, Core Differences

OnePlus has got its deserving position in the mobile industry by offering the flagship-featured Smartphone at a price frequently less than the competitive price of flagships. OnePlus 7’s smooth front/back glass with aluminum frame and small teardrop notch are much charming. However, OnePlus has noticeably turned its concentration towards the OnePlus 7 Pro. The 7 Pro is almost full screen on the front, with no visible front-facing camera notch, or bezels. Instead of a notch, it has a tiny pop-up section that appears top of the device when the user switches to selfie mode. The display of both phones has Gorilla Glass protection; DCI P3 but Pro 7 has HDR10 and 90 HZ display as well. The two of them do have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. OnePlus 7 Pro has bit curvier edges than OnePlus 7.

Display

One Plus 7 has 6.41inches optic AMOLED FHD+ display with latest 19.5:9 aspect ratio at 402ppi density; on the other hand, Pro 7 has slightly big 6.67inches fluid AMOLED QHD+ display with the same 19.5:9 aspect ratio at 516ppi density. Due to the larger display screen to body ratio is also increased from 85% to 88% in 7 Pro. Both models have Android 9.0 with OxygenOS skin.

Hardware

There isn’t much difference here, either of Smartphone have latest QUALCOMM Snapdragon 855 (7nm) chipset with Octal Core processor and Adreno 640 GPU. However, there is a small distinction between models owing to the amount of RAM. The regular OnePlus 7 arrives with 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256 RAM/ROM variants, and the OnePlus 7 Pro’s 6GB model has 128GB internal storage whereas 8GB and 12GB variants come in 256GB storage, Both models offer UFS 3.0 storage technology (faster read and write speed than previous) and doesn’t offer  microSD slot for extending storage.

Camera

The OnePlus 7 Pro jumps towards the triple-camera set up, one with 48 MP sensor, f/1.6, 0.8µm, Laser/PDAF, OIS, the other notch has 16 MP sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 13mm (ultrawide) and an 8 MP lens, f/2.4 aperture, 78mm (telephoto), 3x zoom, Laser/PDAF, OIS. While One Plus 7 remain fixed to dual camera arrangement 48 MP sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 0.8µm, PDAF, OIS the other 5MP, f/2.4 aperture, 1.12µm. One Plus 7 has dual-LED flash, but 7 Pro has Dual-LED Dual-tone flash. The OnePlus 7 has teardrop 16MP notch on top, and 7 Pro has motorized pop-up front 16MP camera. One sits there ever in Vista, while the other pops up on command.

Battery and fast charging

One plus 7 sticks to the same 3700mAh battery like the previous 6T along with a 20W rapid charger. Though, OnePlus 7 Pro has a 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. However, neither of them offers a wireless charger. Even though the 90 Hz Quad HD panel might drag down charge a bit faster than the standard OnePlus 7.

 Price

The top-level specs and QHD panel of OnePlus 7 Pro as flagship device justifies the price of $669 (starting price) The standard OnePlus 7 price is 580$. Pro 7 offer attractive Nebula Blue and Almond along with Mirror Gray colors. OnePlus 7 is available in Mirror Gray and Red colors.
