Finally, Oneplus took the wraps off Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro in today’s launch event (April 4). Bye, bye notch or pop-up selfie camera, Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro adapts to punch hole displays. There also came to see the upgraded OS and chip, better cameras, and higher battery capacities than the ones on the older Oneplus flagship smartphones. For the first time, the Oneplus offers a wireless charge facility with the Oneplus 8 Pro. So let’s see what’s new in the Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro.

Body and Design

Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro look gorgeous, arriving in gradient colors Onyx Black, Glacial Green, Interstellar Glow, Ultramrine Blue. They have a large curved display (protected by Corning Glass 6) and strong aluminum body. Both are splash resistant, but the Pro version gets the advantage of IP68 rating, and become the first Oneplus smartphone with the ability to bear submersion up to 1.5meters for 30minutes.

There is an In-Display Fingerprint Reader, a USB C-port at the bottom, power and volume keys on the right, and SIM tray on left. On the back, the camera setup is oriented vertically in the center, but the Pro shows an extra lens besides that triple vertical camera module of standard.
