After holding a virtual launch event earlier week, Apple is now gearing up for the next highly-anticipated launch event where the company is expected to unveil the new iPhone 12 series devices. As we know, the upcoming iPhone 12 series will be powered by the latest A14 Bionic chipset which powers the new iPad Air (2020). Now, courtesy of popular benchmarking platform AnTuTu, we’re able to have a good idea of how this chip performs in the upcoming flagship iPhone 12 Pro Max.

According to AnTuTu, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For comparison, the memory capacity of the iPhone 11 Pro Max is 4GB, and the storage space is 64GB. There is no 128GB version. The device will run iOS 14.1. In terms of running points, the current total score of this device is 572,333. The CPU score is 167527, GPU score is 222071, MEM score is 100808, and UX score is 81927. Comparing this score with the average score of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the total score has increased by 9.1%. While the CPU, GPU, and storage score increase by 16.7%, 3.6%, and 21.9% respectively, the UX score drops by 2.1%. Antutu pointed out that UX performance is significantly affected by the high refresh rate.
