Asus never before focused on photographic equipment but at CES 2015 has introduce ZenFone Zoom which is a camera focused phablet which is a big change and will be successful.
Asus ZenFone Zoom carries 5.5 inches big display having 1080 pixles resolution and provides 401 ppi with some similarities with Asus ZenFone 2 and some improvements on it. Its front look is like ZenFone 2 and rear look is something like Nokia Lumia 1020 and is fine looking phablet. It is provided with 13 mega pixel main camera with the features of 3X optical zoom up to a maximum of 12X digital zoom exploiting all the potential of Taiwanese software installed in it to give good quality image results.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom has ATOM Z3580 2.3 GHz Quad -core architecture 64 - bit , 4 GB of RAM , 64 GB of internal memory , a graphics card PowerVR G6430 , all powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with rapid charge technology.
The two major factors price and release date of this smatphone is still under the cover but it is expected that the phablet will be available soon with a reasonable price tag.
