Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro CAD renders leaked

Last year in September, Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro went official with impressive design and great specs. The Mate 30 Pro, especially, has a very interesting design that included a Waterfall screen on the front and a circular camera setup on the back. Huawei is banned in the US and cannot use Google Services, but still, the company keeps launching new smartphones with HMS or Huawei Mobile Services which is a platform from Huawei that includes apps that replace the popular Google apps like Gmail, Play Store, Maps, etc. Anyways, just like last year, we are expecting the Huawei Mate 40 series to launch next month and today, we got our first look at these phones, thanks to the CAD-based renders shared by OnLeaks.

Huawei Mate 40 Specs and Price Detail in Cameroon

The Huawei Mate 40 is tipped to feature a 6.4-inches display (down from the 6.62-inches display we currently see on the Huawei Mate 30). As for the Mate 40 Pro, its front display will be slightly bumped up from 6.53-inches to approximately 6.7-inches. Therefore, the “Pro” model will finally be equipped with a larger display than the vanilla model.

From the renderings, it is obvious that both the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro will be coming with a curved panel. However, the curves along the edges will be more pronounced for the Mate 40 Pro which seems to maintain the same ultra-curved, horizon display on the Mate 30 Pro. Other than that, both the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro will also have a pill-shape cutout on the upper-left corner. Over at the back, the phones will have a circular camera module which seems to be considerably larger than the current Mate 30 series phones. The upcoming Huawei Mate 40 will sport a triple-camera setup, while the Mate 40 Pro will have four cameras at the back.
