Huawei Nova 7i goes official with Kirin 810 SoC and 4,200 mAh battery

Huawei has launched a new smartphone – Nova 7i in its Nova series in Malaysia. The smartphone announced as the rebranded variant of the Nova 6 SE, which was launched back in December. Unfortunately, the new phone doesn’t feature Google’s service, such as Play Store and other basic apps due to the USA ban. The Huawei Nova 7i has 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage, and you can get it in three colors – Crush Green, Midnight Black, and Sakura Pink. According to the company, the pre-orders of the smartphone will start tomorrow (14th February 2020) at 10:08 AM.

The Huawei Nova 7i has a 6.4-inch display that can support Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels at a 19:9 aspect ratio. There is a punch-hole at the top left corner for a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the back, the Nova 7i sports a quad-camera setup in a rectangular module. In the quad-camera setup, it offers a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter and 2MP depth camera. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 810 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The smartphone draws power from a 4,200mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge technology and runs Android 10 OS.
