But, now it’s time to talk about more advanced fifth generation network which can deliver higher date rates and extremely fast connectivity like never before. Vivo has tested the 5G network on its smartphone via Snapdragon X50 modem designed by Qualcomm to support 5G connectivity. Xiaomi has also done somewhat with a prototype. Samsung is also leaked with a Galaxy S10 model running 5G. It is said that the 5G mobile phones will deliver 10x more downloading and uploading speeds than 4G. Apart from this, all the devices near in future with 5G network are assured to be powered by the same Snapdragon X50 modem. Qualcomm announced that there will be 19-20 smartphones which will support 5G connectivity.

Oneplus 7: Oneplus has made official that the next Oneplus 2019 smartphone will support 5G. As we know, Oneplus 6T has launched so we are expecting that the Oneplus 7 will be a 5G smartphone. Moreover, it is said that Oneplus will be the first to offer a 5G phone.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3: It is confirmed that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will receive 5G network support in 2019. Xiaomi launched a 4G model of MIX 3 in recent times, but the Chinese brand has promised to launch a 5G version of Mi MIX 3 in early 2019.

Samsung Galaxy S10: Samsung reported that it will launch a 5G phone in 2019. Rumors and reports are saying it will be Samsung Galaxy S10 with 5G network capability. The Galaxy S-series mobiles launch at MWC which takes place in February every year, so you can expect a Samsung 5G mobile in Q1 2019.

The other largest mobile brands including Asus, HMD Global (Nokia), HTC, LG, Motorola, Oppo, Sharp, Sony, Vivo and Xiaomi etc have announced that they will launch at least one 5G smartphone in 2019. We hope the next year will be lucky for 5G lovers as we are expecting.
