Oppo Reno4 and Reno4 Pro unveiled with SD 765G and 65W fast charging

After appearing in the headlines for the past few weeks, the much anticipated OPPO Reno4 series has finally been announced today. The latest members are the Reno4 and Reno4 Pro and they have AMOLED displays, Snapdragon 765G chipsets, and triple rear camera setups. In terms of pricing, the Reno4 costs 2,999 Yuan ($423) and 3,299 Yuan ($465) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno4 Pro will be priced at 3,799 Yuan ($536) and 4,299 Yuan ($606) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models.

The OPPO Reno4 and OPPO Reno4 Pro have almost similar specifications. Both phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset that has 5G modem integrated and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The Reno4 Pro has a curved 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch response. The vanilla Reno4 gets a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display but the refresh rate here is 60Hz. Talking about the cameras, OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro both ship with triple rear cameras. The OPPO Reno4 Pro camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary lens, and a 13MP telephoto sensor. On the other hand, the Reno4 ships with 48MP + 12MP + 2MP sensors. While the Reno4 Pro has a single 32MP selfie camera on the front, the regular model has 32MP main selfie camera assisted by 2MP secondary shooter. A 4,020mAh battery powers the Reno4 while the Pro variant houses a 4,000mAh battery. Both phones support an impressive 65W fast charging tech. They also run on the new ColorOS 7.2 UI based on Android 10.
