Smartphones to launch at MWC19 (Updated)

The largest annual mobile tech exhibition, Mobile World Congress is starting this month Feb 2019. So, what are you expecting from the MWC19? Let’s continue reading to have a good knowledge about what’s coming up.

Samsung Mobiles

Samsung has confirmed its attendance for the MWC19. The Korean brand is holding an Unpacked Event on February 20 to unveil Samsung S10, S10 Plus, and S10 E.

The Galaxy S10+ will be exclusive as well as the most powerful version of the new flagship S series, the Galaxy S10 will be a standard high-end smartphone, and the Galaxy S10 E will be the affordable variant as the E derives here for the economy pack.

We are not sure about Samsung will unveil the Galaxy F (Foldable) smartphone at the MWC alongside S10 or later. A 5G version of Galaxy S10 may debut this summer.

Huawei Mobiles

Huawei is said to be the king of MWC for introducing 5G mobile devices. Huawei's invitation card revealed a Foldable Smartphone pictured in the background and hinted the future 5G mobile plans with the highlight ‘Connecting the Future’. It may be the world’s first Foldable 5G smartphone. The fifth generation network could be the most impressive innovation of this year.

Huawei is holding the event on February 24, zero-day of MWC19.

Nokia Mobiles

HMD is ready to introduce new Nokia Android smartphones. The invite hinted nothing about the upcoming Nokia mobile phone, but some teasers just before invite claimed Nokia 9 and classical Nokia 8.1 Plus. HMD saves the date of February 24, a day before mobile tech show.

Oppo Mobiles

Oppo is another participant in MWC 2019. The Chinese mobile brand has confirmed the date of February 23 for the launch of first 10X Hybrid Zoom Camera Smartphone supported with Dual OIS (optical image stabilization). Oppo will also introduce a bigger In-Display Fingerprint Sensor which would be able to read 2x finger patterns simultaneously. It is said users could unlock the device by touching anywhere on the screen. Rumors are pointing toward Oppo F19 and F19 Pro for 23rd Feb event, but there is no confirmation.

Vivo Mobiles

Vivo is preparing to launch Vivo Apex 2019 at the MWC show for the global market. The Apex phone will rely on pressure sensitivities, Wireless Charging, and Full-Display Fingerprint Sensing. There is no physical button on this smartphone.

The Vivo V15 Pro, on the other hand, has been confirmed via invite to debut on February 20, the same launch day as of Samsung.

Sony Mobiles

Sony launches at least one Xperia smartphone every year at MWC, therefore, we expect Xperia XZ4 to debut somewhere between Feb 25 and 28.

LG Mobiles

LG is another brand which takes part in MWC every year and rumors are LG could unveil LG G8 ThinQ and V50 ThinQ to succeed G7 and V40 ThinQ smartphones. The LG V50 may announce with 5G support.

Xiaomi Mobiles

Xiaomi has scheduled the Mi MIX 3 5G version to launch on February 24 ahead of MWC. It is told the 5G network would possibly start delivering 2GB data per second.

Motorola Mobiles

Lenovo is working on Motorola G7, Moto G7 Plus, G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. We hope Motorola G7 series smartphones will launch at MWC19.

The standard Moto G7 and the upgraded version Moto G7 Plus will have tiny Halo Notches for Displays. However, the budget-friendly Moto G7 Power and the low-end one Motorola G7 Play will have Bar-Shaped Notches. The mid-range cell phones would be priced between $100 and $400.
