Sony Xperia 8 officially launched with Snapdragon 630 Chipset and dual camera setup

Earlier this year, Sony launched a mid-range phone Xperia 10 with 6.0 inches display, and now the brand also unveiled a mid-range Smartphone Sony Xperia 8. The display size of Xperia 8 is similar to Xperia 10 (6.0 inches), but the new model features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and back panel.

Sony Xperia 8 has IPX5 water and IPX6 dust resistant body and its weight are 170 grams. Under the hood, it arrives with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage option. The 6.0 inches display of this device offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Sony Xperia 8 runs Xperia UI based on Android 9 Pie OS and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear panel, it has a horizontal dual camera setup which includes a 12MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, and an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture for adding depth effect in the image. The dual-camera setup of this phone also offers 2x optical zoom, 13 types of scene recognition, 4k video recording, and shooting slow-motion videos at 120fps. The front shell of Xperia 8 has an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. Along with 2760 mAh battery capacity, the device supports up to 18W for rapid charging. We can use a microSD card up to 1TB for expanding more memory space and Xperia 8 is available in Black, White, Orange, and Blue color options.
