Vivo X60 Pro+ unveiled with SDM 888 and 4,200mAh battery

Vivo launched the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro smartphones at the end of 2020 in China. At the event, it confirmed that the Snapdragon 888 SoC powered Vivo X60 Pro+ will launch in January. Today, the company held an event in China to launch the flagship Vivo X60 Pro+. The smartphone is now up for pre-order in China. It will be available to buy starting from 30th January in two color options, namely Classic Orange and Phantom Blue.

The Vivo X60 Pro+ has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole for selfie camera. The display also supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,376 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, a 19.8:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and P3 color gamut. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. Under the hood, the latest 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset powers the Vivo X60 Pro+. It supports 5G connectivity, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs the company’s latest OriginOS skin based Android 11 OS.

For photography experience, it has a quad rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP Samsung GN1 primary sensor with f/1.57 aperture, a Sony IMX589 48MP ultrawide shooter (as the second main camera) with OIS and 114-degree FOV, a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and 8MP periscope shooter with 5x hybrid optical zoom. For selfies, the Vivo X60 Pro Plus comes with a 32MP front camera. The flagship phone comes equipped with a 4,200mAh battery – the same as the X60 Pro. But, the company upgrades the charging speeds. The Vivo X60 Pro+ supports 55W fast charging instead of 33W fast-charging.
