Introduction
Oppo's sub-brand Realme has launched many mid-range phones this year, but on October 15, Realme has unveiled the first flagship phone with SDM 855 plus SoC and quad-camera setup. Sure, we are talking about Realme X2 Pro. Along with X2 Pro, Realme also launched Realme X2 Pro Master Edition. The Realme X2 Pro is available in Lunar White and Neptune Blue color options. The price configuration of this phone is – 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM variant has $350, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage variant costs $400 price and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage variant requires $450 price.
Design and body material
Realme X2 Pro has a vertically shaped quad-camera setup on the back panel, and it measures 161 x 75.7mm x 8.7mm dimensionally. The front and back panels coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the brand makes the display of this device with minor curved (2.5D), and its weight is 199 grams. In terms of crucial physical placement, Realme X2 Pro has the power button and SIMs tray on the right side and volume rockers on the left side with no wobble. We meet with a water-drop notch on the front panel for selfie experience. Oppo built Realme X2 Pro with an aluminum frame, and the company claims that it has a 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. The LED flash arrives on the right side of the quad-camera array. Realme X2 Pro hasn't rear-mounted fingerprint readers because it offers an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The bottom of this phone holds the 3.5mm audio jack, the loudspeaker grille, the primary microphone, and the USB-C connector.

Samsung provides a Super AMOLED screen to Realme; therefore, it has an S-AMOLED screen with 402 PPI density. Realme X2 Pro arrives with 6.5 inches big display that can support Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. An awesome thing! The phone has a 90Hz display's refresh rate for the smooth and best-viewing experience. Unfortunately, Realme X2 Pro hasn't incredible color accuracy because it has a color-temperature issue. Anyway, apart from the color accuracy issue, the phone gets 7700 Kelvin marks in both Vivid and Gentle modes for the cooling test. As a reference, along with 7700, Kelvin marks Realme X2 Pro offers great things because a well-calibrated display gets up to 7000 Kelvin marks. You can also adjust the 90Hz refresh rate of display up to 60Hz (downgrade).In our display's test result, Realme X2 Pro gets 500 nits maximum brightness, and in auto mode, it supports 708 nits. Perhaps, the phone supports up to 1000 nits maximum brightness only for a small portion of the screen. Moreover, Realme X2 Pro has 5.2 scores in the average DeltaE2000 term.
Battery life
Realme has packed a 4,000 mAh battery for this phone, which is constructed by Li-Po batteries maker. The phone supports up to 50W massive, fast charging technology; therefore, the company claims that this device will charge 100% only in 35 minutes. Realme has ships SuperVOOC Flash Charger with X2 Pro for powering battery, but sadly, it hasn't optioned for wireless charging. No doubt, Realme X2 Pro has a big challenge for other top brands like Samsung, Huawei, and Apple, etc. for 50W fast charging technology. In terms of battery life, Realme X2 Pro can do about 27:13h of 3G Talk time, and we can web browsing 13:40h and we spend 17:23h with this device for watching videos. Additionally, it has 94h of excellent battery endurance rating. As we all know, Li-Ion and Li-Po batteries don't like heat, but unfortunately, we found that the Realme X2 Pro gets warm during charging, so sure this issue will affect on battery health.
Software
Like Realme's new phones of this year, Realme X2 Pro runs ColorOS 6.1 skin overlay on Android 9 Pie. The company promises that the phone is also upgradable to Android 10 with ColorOS 6.1 skin after the initial release of the latest Android 10 OS. With Android 9 Pie OS, you experience familiar lock screen, home screen, recent apps menu, and apps drawer. This ColorOS skin is radically different from the custom android skins because it fills up the whole screen while we don't have any notifications and when we are swiping down one more time, we get different icons with a different color. In mute mode, we experience vibration when any notification arrives, so we activate the "Do Not Disturb" mode for playing games without notification vibration. In setting terms, the phone has many different categories to adjust the device that you need, and you can also set the refresh rate of this phone – 60Hz to 90Hz. In terms of the lock screen, you can activate pattern lock, PIN lock, and others for security. Realme X2 Pro offers animations styles for fingerprint (like OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro) for authentication, and you can also add a face for unlocking the device. Still, it hasn't much secure than the fingerprint. As Realme gives so-called Smart sidebar in phones, Realme X2 Pro also arrives with the Smart sidebar, so you can use apps and tools readily on the phone side.
Furthermore, the phone comes with High-performance mode, Smart-performance mode, and no improvements in performance mode. The high-performance modes provide a smooth experience while we are playing games. The Realme X2 Pro offers Dark theme, and we also enable "Dark mode" on apps like Facebook, Twitter, and Gmail, etc.
Performance
The Smartphone powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship Chipset Snapdragon 855+ SoC that provides enough raw power and smooth performance. This Chipset is constructed on a 7nm Octa-core processor and consists of one big Kryo 485 core clocked at 2.96GHz, and more three clocked at 2.42GHz and four Kryo 485 running at 1.8GHz to save power and care of the less demanding tasks. The company ships this phone with Adreno 640 GPU, which is clocked at 700MHz. In terms of benchmarks, Realme X2 Pro has a different score in the following ranks.

Rear Camera Setup
The handset has four cameras on the back panel for photography experience – three shooters are adorable, but the last camera only has a 2MP sensor, so, Realme X2 Pro can't offer best depth information detail. Anyway, apart from the 2MP depth sensor, the phone has Samsung's brand new ISOCELL Bright GW1 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 1/1.7" with 0.8µm pixels. The quad-camera setup has two more sensors, which include a 13MP telephoto shooter f/2.5 aperture, 1.0µm pixels, and 2x optical zoom and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and fairly big 1.4µm pixels. Realme X2 Pro supports HDR, and Panorama features with quad-camera modules.
With 64MP primary shooter, we can shots beautiful and incredible images in daylight time at 100% magnification. The ultra-wide shooter also acts as macro mode, and it can shots as close as 2.5cm as well. In portrait mode, the main camera resolves a lot of detail, and it produces natural skin tones, and edge detection is excellent. You can record 4K videos at 30fps and 60fps, 1080p videos at 120fps and ultra slow-motion videos at 960fps.
Front camera
The water-drop notch on the front panel houses a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture for selfie experience. Selfies from Realme X2 Pro looks pretty lovely with dynamic range and natural-looking skin tones. Sadly, the portrait mode doesn't work great, but it can provide sharper pictures than the regular selfies. The phone offers HDR features, and we can shot impressive photos in low-light themes. Furthermore, it can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
