As we know Huawei has scheduled Nova 5 to launch on June 21 (this Friday), but rumors and leaks are not stopping yet. Recently, Huawei has teased the Nova 5 on its official Weibo page. The post reveals the Huawei handset sports a 32MP Selfie Notch, not a punch hole design or a pop-up front camera. Some people suggested the brand will use to equip Samsung GD1 32MP optics for Nova 5. But that’s not confirmed.

The teaser also exposed a ‘Jungle Green’ color variant of Nova 5. It is said the Nova 5 Pro will carry the same notched display design as standard. However, some sources claimed the Nova 5i not to have such design but a punch hole front camera.
Another source reported there would be a Nova 5i Pro alongside others at the event. The reason is a new model Nova 5 passed through Geekbench, and thus a 5i Pro version speculated. The standard Nova devices (5, 5 Pro) will borrow the power of Kirin 980, whereas the affordable gadgets (5i, 5i Pro) will manage workflow with Kirin 710 chipset.
We expected the Huawei Nova 5 will adopt a UD Fingerprint Sensor and it will allow facial unlock too. The device could be a killer photographer; there may probably two or three snappers. It is possible the main back camera will be capable of capturing images at 48MP resolution. If so, you don’t need to worry.
Pricing details are unofficial, we can say only Nova 5 may cost about $500.
