ASUS Zenfone Pegasus 3S unveiled, The mid-ranger comes with 5000 mAh battery

Taiwanese multinational computer systems, hardware and electronics giant ASUSTek or more commonly known as ASUS has flooded the tech market with high grade products including desktops, laptops, graphic cards, cellular phones et cetera. The company’s division charged with cellular phones has marketed the Zenfone series successfully with models like Zenfone 3 and its many variants including Zenfone 3 Max, Laser, Zoom and others. ASUS released its budget Pegasus series starting in May 2015. The Zenfone Pegasus 3 launched on June 2016 now has got its successor, the Zenfone Pegasus 3S.

Running on MediaTek MT 6750 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor, the phone will have a 3GB RAM with an option between internal storage of either 32GB or 64GB expandable by a microSD card.

The display will be 5.2-inch with a resolution of 720p.

So far the 3S still sounds similar to its predecessor, main highlights of the new device are the OS, the battery and the fingerprint sensor. Pegasus 3S will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with all its features. Unlike the 4100 mAh battery, the 3S is powered up by a significant 5000 mAh non-removable battery. The fingerprint is now installed and implemented in the home screen button.

Hopefully the Pegasus 3S will be sold in a wider market and not only in China. The estimated price of the device will be around $290.
