HMD Global has recently announced that the Nokia 8 owners are getting new Android 8.1 update. The Oreo beta update has roll out via OTA from today, January 24. Some of those Nokia 8 users have received the available update and the remaining will get it soon. The Android 8.1 Oreo beta weighs in at 1553.9 MB which shows it is a big update. The Android Oreo beta brings software bug fixes and a host of new features. Juho Sarvikas, CPO (Chief Product Officer), has confirmed on twitter that the Android 8.1 update has made available for Nokia 8. Moreover, in a funny mode, he told about the hamburger emoji fix. It is said that the update will also carry January security patches. If you’re a Nokia 8 owner and have not received Android Oreo beta update then don’t worry and check regularly, it will be available soon on your device.
