Back in June 2018, Oppo had unveiled the Find X with Snapdragon 845 Chipset, notch-less display, and three cameras on a sliding mechanism. Now, at an Oppo’s innovation Day, the company revealed that it would launch Find X2 with a higher resolution display. Yet, Oppo hasn’t revealed the exact launch date of upcoming Find X2, but it is expected it will arrive in Q1 2020.

The predecessor Find X was an android phone and offer a pop-up camera mechanism for photography experience, and it was the first phone to support 3D facial recognition. On the other hand, the next flagship Oppo Find X2 will power by newly announced Snapdragon 865 Chipset, and the brand has also said it will offer higher resolution, higher refresh rate, better colors, and wider dynamic range compared to its predecessor. The Find X2 will have a camera with Sony’s new all pixel omnidirectional PDAF technology (a dual-pixel technology working with vertical and horizontal details. Along with higher display resolution, the phone expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate and will also offer 5G connectivity like other flagship devices. Moreover, Oppo will also unveil the Reno3 series on December 26.
