Oppo revealed details of 10x lossless camera zoom and 5G smartphone, coming in Q2

Oppo has introduced 10x optical hybrid zoom camera. It is also called 10x hybrid or lossless zoom which has achieved as a result of combining triple cameras focal resolution, a 16mm ultra-wide camera plus a 48MP RGB module of 28mm and a telephoto sensor of 35mm focal length. The 10x optical zoom helps the camera to have a closer view of the focal object without losing standard image quality. That’s why Oppo hyped it with “Get Closer” in the Invite.

Something was also at the stage that the fans forgot to expect, the first Oppo 5G smartphone. It was, though a prototype, the Company described the best possible effects how the fifth generation network could change the world.

Oppo announced it will launch the 5G-capable smartphone in the second quarter of the year (this summer, probably in June 2019). Oppo has confirmed some internal specs while the other stays mysterious. Oppo executive at the innovation event said 5G is achievable with the help of Qualcomm. It is further told Oppo 5G smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and will have Qualcomm X50 modem to add support for newer connectivity.

The other features are expected. Oppo 5G Smartphone will have a 6.7inches IPS LCD Display, 1080x2340p (FHD+) resolution, Android 9.0 (Pie), and ColorOS interface. It will use to equip In-Display Fingerprint Sensor. The device may feature Triple Rear Cams and a 25MP Selfie Lens.

Inside the metal beast, an Octa-core processor of 2.5GHz clock rate will be accompanied with Adreno 640 GPU. RAM and ROM should be 8GB and 256GB, respectively. MicroSD slot, perhaps, might not exist. Oppo 5G smartphone is likely to get a 4000mAh non-removable battery with Super VooC Charge. Fast Charging and USB-C will be made available.

Oppo 5G Smartphone is hoped to launch in Red and Blue gradient colors. The handset is reported to make the first debut in Europe, then Asia and US regions etc. The newly introduced 10X lossless zoom camera setup will be offered by the upcoming 5G device. It will cost you about $700.
