Motorola Moto G8 Plus and Moto E6 Play goes official

Motorola has unveiled Moto G8 Plus, and Moto E6 Play at an event in Brazil. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a triple camera setup while Moto E6 Play has only a single camera.

The Motorola Moto G8 Plus runs Android 9 Pie, and the brand promises it also runs Android 10 after the update. The phone has 6.3 inches IPS LCD that can offer a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels at 400ppi density. In triple camera setup, Moto G8 Plus gets 48-megapixel primary shooter, 16MP ultra-wide sensor with 117-degree field of view (like One Action), and 5MP sensor adds depth effects. Under the hood, it powered by SDM 665 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage, also expandable via microSD card up to 512GB. For selfie experience, it has a 25-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture on the front panel. We can record 4k videos at 30fps and 1080p slow-motion videos at 120fps. Moto G8 Plus arrives with a 4,000 mAh battery and offers up to 15W for quick charging.

Moto E6 Play

Motorola launched Moto E6 Play as the cheapest phone in G-series. Moto E6 Play features a 5.5 inches HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a 5-megapixel sensor for taking selfies on the front panel. On the back panel, it houses a single 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture for photography and fingerprint sensor. On the inside, Moto E6 Play has MediaTek MT6739 Chipset and paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It packs a 3000 mAh battery that can supports up to 5W for fast charging, and the phone runs Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
