OPPO has announced that the highly-anticipated ColorOS 7 stable update is finally available to the first batch of six smartphones, including OPPO Reno, OPPO Reno Inspiration Edition, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, OPPO Reno FC Barcelone Edition, OPPO Reno Ace, and OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition. As usual, this update has been rolled out first in China and is likely to be available in the global market within the next couple of weeks. The update is based on Android 10 and brings system-wide dark mode, but with a ColorOS twist. There is a revamped UI, customizable icons, better color system, and new sound effects.

All the custom editions will get new wallpapers, as well as a “refined desktop experience,” and there is a new system font called Oppo Sans. The new update also brings some proper improvements in some major features - Portrait Mode is now 2.0, Enhanced Night Mode, and Super-Steady Mode for video recording are also in the mix. According to the ColorOS 7 roadmap released by OPPO last year, the next batch of devices expected to receive the stable update will include the OPPO Reno2, OPPO Reno2 Z, OPPO Reno Z, OPPO Find X, OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition, OPPO R17, OPPO R17 Pro, as well as OPPO K15.
