Vivo S6 5G shows up on TENNA ahead of March 31 launch

Vivo S6 5G has purportedly spotted on Chinese certification site TENAA with model numbers V1962A and V1962BA. The listings of the Vivo phone suggest its key specifications as well as hints at its design -- all ahead of the official launch that is set for March 31. On Monday, Vivo published an image showing the back of the Vivo S6 5G. That image showed off a circular camera module at the rear side. The smartphone also appeared to have a gradient finish, similar to many other phones by Chinese manufacturers. The Vivo S6 5G (V1962A/BA) TENAA listing shows that it measures 161.16 x 74.66 x 8.68mm, and it weighs 181 grams. While the rumor mill speculated that the Vivo S6 5G has a dual punch-hole screen, the TENAA images reveal that it is equipped with a waterdrop notch screen.

The TENAA listing shows that the Vivo S6 5G will have a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen that delivers a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Android 10 OS skinned with the latest FunTouch OS 10 will come preinstalled on the device. The Vivo S6 5G is said to power by a 5G-ready chipset that clocks at 2.2GHz. TENNA listing also reveals that the device will have a 4,390 mAh battery. The round-shaped camera setup is reported to feature a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary shooter, and two 2MP other sensors.
