After a long time wait, Oneplus unveiled its Oneplus 5T on November 16 in a Brooklyn event in New York. A few months ago, the brand has introduced its Oneplus 5 flagship device and now its improved version 5T in front of you. It boots Android 7.1.1 OS skinned with Oxygen OS. The manufacturing style of body of new device is so pretty and symmetrical. It has thinner bezels than its sibling. As the rumors were claimed, the Oneplus 5T is boasting a 6-inch taller display of 18:9 ratio which gives you more estate to read, watch or surf the web easily on screen. Its touchscreen is equipped with Optic AMOLED display technology so you can see every moment perfectly. Its 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution makes it easier to enjoy animations. It is protected with a gorilla glass5. The 5T smartphone is looking so cool in hands. One of the new features of smartphone is its improved security for user convenient. Face unlock is becoming popular among the high-end devices. The Oneplus 5T also supports the Face unlock recognition which helps you to use device instantly and unlock your phone within 0.4 sec so you have no need to wait more to unlock this gadget. It uses 100 facial features and also works in dark.
Coming to the CPU, the device is powered by the Qualcomm’s fastest chip named Snapdragon 835. Oneplus 5T recently tested on AnTuTu and gets a respectable 176k scores and showed that it is among the higher flagships. Oneplus 5 scored 180k due to the same chipset Snapdragon 835 coupled with 8GB RAM. LG V30, Galaxy Note 8, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are the smartphones with same SD835 but these are lower in performance than the new Oneplus 5T so in this way it is really great. Oneplus 5T is supported with a blazing fast Octa core processor. Adreno 540 GPU is tucked to deliver best graphics when you are watching and playing animated stuff. In short, the device is perfect in performance.
Now it's camera turn, Oneplus 5T brings dual 20MP + 16MP camera snappers on its back. Both lenses capture images and videos quickly. It offers you to experience the photography and shooting like never before. The Company offered some people to test the camera performance, and when they captured the images of same sights by using Oneplus 5T’s flagship camera and the other DSLR camera. And really you can’t believe the images taken by the Oneplus 5T are brighter and clearer than those of DSLR camera pictures. The Low light performance and portrait mode are also improved for better result. Before it, the CEO of Oneplus also teased the upgraded portrait feature. For selfie lovers, a 16MP camera sensor is placed on front to support you whenever you are with your friends and wish to capture the best selfie to share it with others.
In terms of Memory, the Oneplus 5T has launched in two variants – 64GB and 128GB. The standard variant has 6GB RAM while the 128GB exclusive edition has 8GB RAM that’s why you can download more games and play them without hanging or getting slow down speed. There is shortage of card slot so you can’t expand memory therefore be careful and select any storage option carefully according to your requirement. As for the prices, the 64GB variant is priced at $500 whereas the 128GB variant is offered for $560.
As far as other features are concerned, the Oneplus 5T is backed by a 3450mAh battery that takes the responsibility to wake up device for a day. Dash fast charging support is available too. There is USB C port for reverse charging. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on rear which helps you to secure device as well as to unlock it quickly. It has cellular network support and other latest connectivity options to connect with outside world.
The sales for new Oneplus 5T will be started on November 21. Following regions will get the smartphone at first, North America, India, and European countries except Norway and Switzerland. The Oneplus 5T will hit china a bit later.
