Huawei P40 Lite is here with 48MP quad-camera setup and Kirin 810

Huawei is confirmed to unveil the P40 series flagship smartphones on March 26 at an event in Paris. It is said to include handsets such as Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Premium Edition. The P40 series also has the Huawei P40 Lite that has gone official now. The Huawei P40 Lite is actually launched as a rebranded version of the Nova 6 SE that was unveiled in China in December. The company has confirmed that the pre-sale of the phone will begin in European markets on March 2, which will continue until March 16.

Huawei P40 Lite flaunts an IPS LCD with a punch-hole at its top-left corner. The 6.4-inch display provides a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels. The P40 Lite delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.6 percent. The 7nm Kirin 810 chipset powers the smartphone with 6 GB of RAM. The device is equipped with an internal storage of 128 GB. The EMUI 10 based Android 10 OS is preloaded on the device. Unfortunately, it does not feature Google Mobile Services (GMS). The Huawei P40 Lite has a square-shaped camera setup at the upper-left corner. It has a 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 120-degree 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with 4cm focal length and f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For snapping selfies, the P40 Lite provides users with a frontal shooter of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. The handset has a 4,200 mAh battery that supports up to 40W for fast charging. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the smartphone.
