Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro pops up on FCC with 30W fast charging support

Xiaomi is all set to unveil its upcoming Redmi Note series smartphones - Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro at an online event. Ahead of the official launch on March 12th, these smartphones have been subjected to several leaks and rumors, revealing most details, including information on the variants and colors of the Pro version. The Redmi Note 9 Pro has now appeared on the database of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. The listing gives us an idea of some of the key specifications of the upcoming device, including battery power. The FCC listing of the Redmi Note 9 Pro has revealed the model number of M2003J6A1G. This model number has been confirmed to be associated with Redmi Note 9 Pro in the past leaks. According to the FCC listing, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will feature dual-band Wi-Fi and will run MIUI 11 based on the Android 10 operating system.

The listing also reveals that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will feature a 4,920mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The FCC listing didn’t reveal further details, but previous GeekBench appearance revealed the Redmi Note 9 Pro would feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM. A reliable tipster Akshay Aggarwal also revealed that the phone would feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ display having a 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. The display is said to have a hole-punch selfie camera design with a Samsung GG5 sensor onboard.
