Apple released iOS 13.2.3 with background app improvements and bug fixes

Today (19-Nov), Apple has unveiled iOS 13.2.3 to the public for all compatible iPhones. The iOS 13.2.3 update resolve issues exist within the Mail apps and also improve search functionality within Mail, Files, and Notes apps. The new iOS update is also fixing the problem – background downloading of app content.

The list of changes in this update:

  1. Fixes an issue where system search and search within Mail, Files, and Notes might not work
  2. Addresses an issue where photos, links, and other attachments might not display in the Messages details view
  3. Fixes an issue that could prevent apps from downloading content in the background
  4. Resolves issues that may prevent Mail from fetching new messages, and fail to include and quote original message content in Exchange accounts
