Meizu Watch comes with Snapdragon Wear 4100 and 420mAh battery

Meizu Watch has been officially launched in China as the company’s first smartwatch. It comes in Black and Blue colors with aluminium alloy frame and a rubber strap. In addition, the smartwatch delivers 36 hours of battery life on a full charge, and it has the Snapdragon 4100 Wear, which is the Qualcomm chip for smartwatches.

The Meizu Watch has a 6-series aluminum alloy construction with a ceramic base. It measures 46 x 38.4mm and has a thickness of 12.97mm. The device has a 1.78-inch AMOLED display which is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen produces 368 x 448 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density, and 500 nits brightness. The smartwatch has a physical button for accessing its various functions. The Meizu Watch runs on Flyme OS, which allows users to customize the watch face with a wide range of dial photos.

Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 4100 chip that is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The Meizu Watch supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC for contactless payments through Meizu Pay. The Meizu Watch can track sports activities such as indoor/outdoor running, walking, elliptical trainer, indoor/outdoor cycling, table tennis, badminton, bowling, rowing machine, climbing, skipping rope, and free training. The smartwatch also has a 420mAh battery that promises a battery life of up to 36 hours on a single charge. The company claims that once it is charged for 15 minutes, it can last for the entire day.
