Today, OPPO released an official confirmation through its Weibo account that it will be launching the Reno6 series of smartphones at 6 PM (local time) on May 27 in China. The upcoming Reno6 series is expected to consist of three devices – the vanilla Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and the Reno6 Pro+.

As per the recent reports, the Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and Reno6 Pro+ have PEQM00, PEPM00, and PENM00 model numbers, respectively. The Oppo Reno6 is expected to have a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Rumors are rife that it could be debuting as the world’s first phone powered by the all-new Dimensity 900 chip. The TENAA listings of the Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+ have revealed that they will be equipped with 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panels. Both phones are rumored to arrive with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 1200 SoC is said to power the Reno6, whereas the Reno6 Pro+ could be featuring the Snapdragon 870.

For selfies, the Reno6 lineup may come with a 32MP front camera. The Reno6 Pro will have a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-camera setup, while the Pro+ may have a 50MP + 16MP + 13MP + 2MP quad-camera setup. Under the hood, the Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ might pack a 4500mAh battery.
