Xiaomi has officially launched its new Black Shark 3S flagship gaming smartphone in China today. The device comes in two colors namely Skyfall Black and Crystal Blue. Black Shark 3S costs only 3,999 yuan ($573) for the base model (12GB RAM and 128GB storage). Alongside Black Shark 3S, the brand also announced three new accessories - Black Shark Shoulder Buttons, Black Shark Gamepad, and Black Shark finger sleeve.

Xiaomi Black Shark 3S flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, 17ms touch response rate, HDR10+, refresh rate optimization for games, DC Dimming, and blue light filter. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The gaming phone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Further, it comes with the company’s in-house Game Engine and Tencent SolarCore to offer a better gaming experience. As for the operating system, the phone runs Joy UI 12 based on Android 10 (which is a customized MIUI 12 by Xiaomi). Black Shark 3S has a triple camera setup on the back panel which includes a 64MP primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide shooter, and 5MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP selfie camera on the front side. Other features include sandwich liquid cooling system, MEMC 3.0, 3D sound, screen mirroring via USB 3.0, and a plethora of gaming-related software features (including voice-controlled gameplay). Furthermore, the smartphone comes with a 4,720mAh battery that can support up to 65W for fast charging.
