Apple iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 unveiled with 5G support and Bionic A14

As scheduled, Apple officially launched its new flagship iPhone 12 series with powerful A14 Chipset. This time around, Apple unveils four iPhones – iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. In this article, we talk about the regular iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12. Both devices come with 5G support and a square-camera module at the back. Apple also announced a HomePod Mini smart speaker that will come in white and gray, cost $99, and be shipped starting Nov. 16. The new HomePod offers features like allowing use by multiple users in a home and sending information to car-based systems. The iPhone 12 Mini will go on pre-orders from November 6, while its availability would start from November 13. The Apple iPhone 12 would go on pre-orders from October 16, while its availability would begin from October 23.

The smaller Apple iPhone 12 Mini features a 5.4 inches OLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It houses a 60Hz refresh rate for a smooth touch experience. Apple iPhone 12, on the other hand, comes with a 6.1 inches OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Both devices also have 5G support. Under the hood, the phones are powered by flagship Bionic A14 Chipset. The SoC is coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage. The iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 both have dual-camera setups at the back with 12MP primary sensors. Apple provides 18W fast charging support on both devices. As for software, these devices run the latest iOS 14 that offers many new features.
