Motorola Moto G50 5G debuts with 48MP Cam and 5000mAh Battery

Motorola has unveiled Moto G50 5G. Australia is the first destination for the new Moto smartphone. Moto G50 5G has been listed on the official Motorola website for a price of AUD 399 that converts into $289 for the global market. No official word when it will launch worldwide, but we expect it to happen by next month, September 2021.

The Moto G50 5G has a selfie notch on top of the display. The phone also tries to keep the bezels slim. On the back of the phone is a square camera matrix that is home to three sensors and a LED flash. The Motorola logo sits in the middle and is home to the rear fingerprint sensor. On the bottom edge of the device, there's a USB-C port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired headphones.

Moto G50 5G has a 6.5-inch HD+ display. The screen has a 20:9 wide aspect ratio, 90Hz max refresh rate, and dynamic colors. Toward the front, we found a 13-megapixel lens. The Moto G50 5G runs on Android 11, the latest of its species. All modern features are present such as Schedule Dark Theme, Recalling Notification History, Better Navigation, and More Control like temporary permission for apps.

The Moto G50 5G has four cameras if you count those on the front and back, which are sufficient numbers for an affordable phone. On the rear of the handset, a 48MP main lens accompanies a 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. The camera app is packed with lots of features such as best shot, manual mode (for front and back cameras), sample color, live filter, night vision, portrait lighting, and Google Lens integration.

Motorola Moto G50 5G picks up MediaTek Dimensity 700, a 5G chip build on 7nm node. The one and only RAM and ROM choice is 4GB/128GB. The phone has a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. The bulky phone is 9.3mm thick and weighs 206 grams. Battery is of 5000mAh, giving you non-stop talk and play time. The gadget is compatible with 15W Fast Charge.
