The OnePlus Nord delivers the best features from OnePlus flagships in the mid-range category, and when OnePlus unveiled the phone three months ago, it offered the device in Blue Marble and Black Onyx color options. Today (14-Oct-20), the company has announced a new OnePlus Nord Special Edition with Gray Ash color. OnePlus says the new color “combines a raw, industrial vibe with an elegant matte texture, elevating the Nord aesthetic and reaffirming OnePlus's mission for uncompromising design.” Sales of the Gray Ash OnePlus Nord Special Edition kick off on October 15 in the EU, and October 17 in India.

Apart from the new color option, the Nord Special Edition comes with same specifications as the OnePlus Nord. It runs on Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.5 and has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM. The OnePlus Nord Special Edition has 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage and 12GB RAM. It has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 5-megapixel depth shooter. The OnePlus Nord Special Edition has a dual selfie camera setup at the front. This setup comprises a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. There is a 4,115mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology.
