Samsung Galaxy S21 launch event has been officially confirmed by the company. The next-gen flagship series which is expected to include the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra will go official on January 14. The launch event invite teases the unique camera setup that has been seen on several renders already. The Samsung Galaxy S21 series launch event will begin at 10 am EST and will be live-streamed across official Samsung channels.

A popular German site (WinFuture.de) known for its accurate leaks, recently shared the renders and specifications of all the three phones - Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The upcoming phones are expected to look similar in terms of design. All three devices are widely believed to come with a center-aligned hole-punch display and a unique rear camera module that bleeds into the corners. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the most premium device and is also expected to support the S Pen. In terms of specs, the three phones will run on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top. Depending on the region, the Galaxy S21 series could be featuring the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 SoC. The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus are said to have 8GB of RAM as standard, along with 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage. There could be up to 12GB of RAM on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. Samsung Galaxy S21 is reported to come with a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 421ppi pixel density. The Galaxy S21 Plus, on the other hand, could offer a 6.7-inch display with 394ppi of pixel density. Both phones are also expected to have a 60-120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The premium Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to features a 6.8-inch (1,440 x 3,200 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 515ppi pixel density. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will also come with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Both the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus are expected to have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to offer a quad-camera setup that includes a 108MP primary camera. For selfies and video chats, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus will come with a 10MP camera sensor at the front, according to the report. The S21 Ultra is said to have a 40MP sensor that will have PDAF and laser autofocus features. Samsung Galaxy S21 may pack a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S21 Plus may come with a battery capacity of 4,800mAh. Both phones are expected to have 25W fast charging support — alongside Qi wireless charging compatibility. There is expected to be a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support on Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It may support wireless charging as well.
